Graham + Sibbald’s Edinburgh office were delighted to be joined by Dundee University student, Emmy Hall for one week of work experience in mid-February 2019.
Currently finishing her second year of Business Management studies, Emmy plans to go on to obtain her Masters in Real Estate following successful Graduation in 2021. She hopes to attain this in either London or Edinburgh, building her knowledge of different property market trends and gaining commercial valuation experience.
Following on from prior work experience placements within Graham + Sibbald’s Perth and Dundee offices, Emmy spent her time specifically within the Edinburgh commercial valuation and agency teams, and has now set her sights on becoming a Commercial Property Agent.
Emmy commented, “I really enjoyed my week at Graham + Sibbald and it was a great opportunity to gain more industry related knowledge. I especially enjoyed going out on viewings and meeting clients. Throughout the week, I discovered how important valuation is across multiple Surveying disciplines and found Agency to be my favourite.”
“Getting out and about was great because it means you’re not just sitting at a desk all day. I’m really chatty so meeting clients and new people appeals to me greatly, especially when deals are being made! Overall I had a great work experience placement with G+S and will be keeping in touch with the teams as I continue my studies.”
