Valuing property + valuing you
16 Offices across Scotland

As one of the leading firms of Chartered Surveyors and Property Consultants, we provide a comprehensive range of residential property surveys and valuations – from basic mortgage valuations to detailed building surveys.

We will be happy to advise you on the type of survey/valuation that will best suit your needs. We understand that speed is vital in today’s residential market and will ensure a fast turn-around to meet your requirements.

We are a trusted name in the market, acting for all major Building Societies, Banks and Lending/Financial Institutions and are listed on all the major lenders’ panels. Our valuations, surveys and other reports are recognised and accepted by all key mortgage providers.

Everything we do is designed to add value. We’ll work closely with you to provide a bespoke solution to your specific needs. Our comprehensive range of services includes:

Mortgage Valuation Reports (Scheme 1)

These valuations provide the information a lender needs to decide how large a loan they will provide. They do not involve a detailed property inspection. We can provide these reports as a stand-alone document or to accompany a Home Report.

Homebuyer Surveys (Scheme 2)

These valuations involve a thorough property inspection that highlights any significant defects, problems or necessary repairs. The resulting standardised report provides the information a purchaser needs to make an informed judgement.

Building Surveys (Scheme 3)

Where a home is very old or damaged, a more detailed building survey may be required. If this is the case, our surveyor will closely examine the structure and condition of the building and provide an in-depth report.

Valuation for Other Purposes

We can provide residential property valuations for a wide range of specialist requirements such as for taxation, pre-sale or matrimonial purposes. We will advise on the appropriate type of valuations that will best meet your needs.

Energy Performance Certificates (EPC)

An EPC gives information on how energy efficient a building is and sets out how this can be improved. An EPC must be provided when a property is sold or rented. We have specially trained surveyors who can prepare your EPC.
