Develop Initial Project Brief
We are experts at developing detailed project design briefs and implementation plans. To do this, we firstly establish specific client requirements and thereafter secure a bespoke design team which may include other appropriate professionals such as structural engineers, mechanical and electrical consultants, architects and other relevant expert design consultants. This team will develop the project design from concept through to its final form ready for undertaking a tender process to procure best value in the market place.
Tender Management (Process)
We will prepare a tender package based on the finalised project design. This will be used to run a competitive tendering process to ensure market-tested competitive bids are obtained. We will thereafter prepare a detailed tender analysis to ensure compliant bids have been submitted, and will recommend the most appropriate choice of contractor best suited to deliver the project subject to receiving formal client agreement.
Manage Project Implementation
We will manage the works throughout the whole construction phase, monitoring all aspects of the build to ensure quality and program compliance.
We will continually assess the value of all works to ensure that they are a fair reflection of expenditure at any given time allowing accurate management of the project budget.
Should unforeseen issues arise during the construction phase, we will determine appropriate solutions to minimise impact on the overall project delivery and budget.
We regularly fulfill the role of principal designer on construction projects, and will ensure full compliance with the Construction (Design + Management) Regulations – the main set of regulations for managing the health, safety and welfare of construction projects.
Signing off the works
At the conclusion of the construction phase, we will certify that the works have been carried out in accordance with the contract documentation. We will co-ordinate the final snagging stage of the project and implement the hand-over process.
Our role will also include agreement of the final account, and ensuring all required statutory authority completion certification is obtained.
