Acting on behalf of Ernst & Young, Graham + Sibbald have successfully sold factory premises (former Galloway Group) on Arrol Road, Wester Gourdie Industrial Estate, Dundee.
The substantial manufacturing facility of 87,433 sq ft, contained on a site of circa 4.3 Acres, sold after a marketing campaign that drew interest from both owner occupiers and investors. The subjects were eventually sold to an investor based in England who now plans to refurbish the unit and lease it out.
Graham + Sibbald’s Dundee Commercial Department commented: “We are delighted to have secured this sale for our clients. Our marketing campaign generated good levels of interest in a market that has recently come under some pressure with the removal of 100% rates relief for industrial buildings. This sale does however show that confidence is returning to the industrial sector, especially for properties that have flexibility and allow for sub-division.”
