The Highland Council – Inner Moray Firth Local Development Plan 2 Main Issues Report Consultation

The Highland Council is currently in the process of preparing a second Local Development Plan for the Inner Moray Firth area (covering Nairnshire, Inverness and the eastern part of Ross and Cromarty).  The Plan will shape what development happens and where.

The Main Issues Report was published for consultation on the 29th January 2021.  This consultation seeks views on 9 Main Issues affecting the area, including climate change, economic recovery and delivering affordable housing. Views are sought on the key issues affecting the area and development site options for all the main settlements.

The deadline for the submission of comments to the Main Issues Report consultation is 5pm on Thursday 1st April 2021.

Graham + Sibbald’s Planning and Development Team are actively involved in the preparation of this Local Development Plan 2 and are promoting a number of development opportunity sites within the Inner Moray Firth area.
