Stirling Based Chartered Surveyors Announce Strategic Partner Promotion

Graham + Sibbald Chartered Surveyors have announced the promotion of Gavin Miller to Partner within their residential department.  Gavin Miller is a Chartered Surveyor and now Partner within the firm, having joined back in 2012. Since Gavin joined the company, the Stirling office has seen significant and consistent growth over the past decade and Gavin now also oversees the Falkirk Office.

As one of the leading firms of Chartered Surveyors in Scotland, Graham + Sibbald provide a comprehensive range of residential property surveys and valuations for a variety of purposes and clients. Based in 16 regional offices, the Graham + Sibbald Residential team are a trusted name in the market, acting for all major Building Societies, Banks and Lending/Financial Institutions. The firm provides home reports across Scotland that are accepted by all lender’s panels.

Gavin Miller commented, “It is an exciting time to be involved in the recent growth of Graham + Sibbald and we have an energetic and ambitious team that is well placed to make sure we continue to serve our established and growing client base. The property market always goes through peaks and troughs, however the markets have remained resilient in the face of the cost of living crisis and the uncertainty over mortgage interest rates.  As the year progresses we remain hopeful that mortgage interest rates will continue to fall to allow the markets to keep on performing well.”

Stirling, with its rich history and local attractions, is a popular City both to live and work, which may be a defining factor as to why house prices have rocketed in recent years. The City has excellent transport links and local schooling, making Stirling and surrounding areas popular for families.

“There has been an increase in demand for good quality housing stock, particularly for family homes as a result of a shift of many workers now being able to work from home.  This has resulted in strong prices being obtained, particularly for rural properties or properties in desirable areas such as Bridge of Allan, Dunblane and Linlithgow.”

Graham + Sibbald’s Residential team work closely with other in-house departments across the business in order to provide a well-rounded property service which encompasses the needs and requirements of all their clients, regardless of size; from Building Surveying services to Architecture, Planning and even Carbon + Sustainability advice amidst a range of specialisms.
