Senior Planner Hire

Chartered surveyors, and property consultancy Graham + Sibbald, has hired Grant Allan as a Senior Planner to join their Planning Team.  Grant will be based between the Edinburgh and Glasgow offices and will have a Scotland-wide remit.

Grant brings a wealth of experience from previous roles with private consultants GL Hearn and Rapleys LLP before joining Graham + Sibbald in late January 2020.

Grant Allan said: “I am excited about my new role with Graham + Sibbald and see this move as a great opportunity to apply my experience in assisting public and private sector clients; and to help them identify further opportunities for development, whilst assisting them with the planning application process.  I’ve already enjoyed getting started on a number of projects since joining.  I’m looking forward to  continuing working closely with the planning team and wider Graham + Sibbald colleagues on upcoming opportunities”.

Key experience has been gained in various sectors including residential and retail, leisure, roadside and automotive, and rural/countryside development.  Some recent highlights include assisting Lidl with their nationwide expansion in Scotland and providing the planning justification for the Porsche Car Showroom in Perth.

Graham + Sibbald has over 200 employees and 20 partners working across its 16 UK offices in Scotland and England.
