Queens Hotel Perth – SOLD

The Hotel + Leisure division of property firm Graham + Sibbald are delighted to announce the Queens Hotel, 105 Leonard Street, Perth, PH2 8HA has been SOLD.

With its eye-catching and prominent roadside position, the Queens Hotel is located close to Perth city centre, as well as perfectly located opposite Perth Railway Station (providing direct rail links to London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, Aberdeen and Inverness), and also alongside Perth Bus Station.

The Queens Hotel has 51 ensuite bedrooms; a range of bar, restaurant, meeting, function facilities; a leisure spa with pool and gym; and a private car parking.

Purchased by overseas investors, the Queens Hotel will be operated and managed by Compass Hospitality, who already operate hotels throughout Scotland and the UK.

Alistair Letham, Hotel + Leisure Consultant at Graham + Sibbald, commented; “The sale of the Queens Hotel signifies the continuing confidence in the hotel and hospitality business in Scotland, beyond Covid, with a competitive bidding process resulting in the sale. The hotel will sit well in the Compass Hospitality portfolio of hotels around Scotland.”

Perth has a commanding position at the crossroads of Scotland, thus ensuring the city’s popularity as a destination for both visitors and businesses with these excellent transport links. Perth has benefitted from significant inward investment, to its facilities, and with more investment programmed via the recently announced Tay Cities Deal (including the refurbishment of the Perth City Hall to a cultural and heritage attraction where the Stone of Destiny is to be housed). Perth and the surrounding Perthshire county has much to offer – famed for fishing and golf; the Perth Races, Scone Palace and its Game Fair, ReWind Music Festival, Perth Show and Highland Games are but a few – as well as the county’s aesthetically pleasing scenic beauty.

The purchase price is undisclosed.
