Druid Temple, Inverness

Our Planning and Development Team was commissioned to secure residential allocation for the Druid Temple site in the Inner Moray Firth Local Development Plan. Our team was specifically appointed due to their experience in The Highland Council area.

We identified potential site constraints in terms of flood risk and access and addressed these as part of the representations submitted to The Highland Council. To do this, we utilised our network of specialist technical consultants to assess the potential constraints and to propose mitigation measured. This demonstrated that the site constraints could be addressed and that a residential development could be delivered at the location.

Following our promotion of the land, the allocation of this site was supported by the Reporter appointed to examine the plan on behalf of the Scottish Ministers. The site was then included as a residential allocation in the adopted plan.
