We purchased a small industrial estate on behalf of Ark Estates in 2016. Since the purchase, our Edinburgh Agency Team have re-geared two of the existing leases and completed two new lettings. The current demand for small industrial units in Edinburgh allowed for capital growth from £5 per square foot up to £7.50 (a 30% increase).

The buildings were purchased for £550,000 and now have an asset value of £1.1m. The Edinburgh Building Surveying Team also assisted with dilapidation negotiations, EPC’s and helped obtain asbestos reports, gas certificated and fire risk assessments.
