Building Survey of Mixed-Use Site

As part of an investment deal Graham + Sibbald (G+S) were instructed to carry out a Pre-acquisition Building Survey and report of a mixed-use site comprising retail, office, gym and private residential accommodation in  Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire. The site was developed between 1960-1980 with subsequent adaptions over recent years.

Our client is a well-established family investment company who were seeking advice on the forms of construction, current state of repair and asset management considerations. G+S also arranged for a roof survey via aerial drone (by third parties) to accompany their report.

The project resulted in the property being purchased shortly after issue of the G+S final report. The client has subsequentially appointed G+S for other Building Surveys.
