Project Management Team Growth

Further to the recent hire of David Officer as a Project Manager and Director in November 2020, Graham + Sibbald are now further developing the team to welcome Luke Hutson.

Based within the Edinburgh office, David’s career has seen him work with and lead on the delivery of large and complex projects for a wide range of clients including The City of Edinburgh Council, Fettes College, Royal London Group and Heriot-Watt University, with his most recent project being the multi award winning Marischal Square – a joint venture mixed-use development in Aberdeen City Centre for Muse Developments.

David’s remit includes securing new opportunities and working with clients to help them navigate the delivery of commercial new build and refurbishment projects from initial concept design to procurement, through construction to completion and handover. Luke will assist David across a variety of projects on behalf of a broad range of clients, while also working closely with members of the building surveying and architectural teams across Edinburgh and Glasgow primarily.

David commented: “As demand increases for Project Management services across the business, I am looking forward to working with Luke to assist in the provision of same. There are so many opportunities at present as the market returns to pre-lockdown levels and I am keen to take on as many as possible.”

With over 30 professional staff in employment within the Building Surveying + Architectural services team across their office network Graham + Sibbald are continuing to expand their offering of services and locations. Graham + Sibbald has around 200 employees and 20 partners working across its 16 UK offices in Scotland and England.

Building Surveying Partner, Paul Docherty said, “We have been experiencing high levels of new construction projects across our Client base from private developers and multi-nationals to local authorities and public sector bodies across the UK. David and Luke will work in conjunction with our building surveying and architectural teams to provide excellent client care, service provision and advice.”
