Donald is a qualified Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer specialising in all commercial property valuations, primarily for bank lending purposes, but also with a view to providing tax advice (CGT, IHT) and acquisition/sales advice to a wide variety of professional advisers and private individuals. The range of properties he covers is extensive, including; all sizes of shops, offices and industrial units in particular – both with vacant possession and subject to lease agreements. Geographically he covers the Scottish Borders, the Lothians and West Central Fife. He has been with Graham + Sibbald since 1998, having been promoted to Associate Partner in 2005 and becoming a Partner in the business in 2008.
