Darroch is a Chartered Surveyor with extensive experience of the North East residential market and is head of the Residential Department in Aberdeen. Having worked originally for a large national housebuilder he re-trained as a Surveyor and thereafter was employed in Edinburgh and the Borders for another large national firm of Chartered Surveyors. After moving back home to the North East, he joined Graham + Sibbald in 2008 as Associate, and was appointed Partner in 2014. He specialises in residential survey and valuation, carrying out Home Reports, Mortgage Valuations and other Professional valuations as well as being a Domestic Energy Assessor providing EPC’s on behalf of Solicitors, estate agents, lenders and housebuilders.
