Daniel Tucker

Director

Daniel is a Director, Chartered Building Surveyor & Thermographer within the Manchester team. Daniel studied Building Surveying at The University of Salford and graduated in 2012 with First Class Honours. Prior to his degree he also achieved a Distinction in his Higher National Certificate (HNC) at Stockport College in Construction and the Built Environment.

Daniel started working with Graham + Sibbald in May 2020, since doing so has delivered a wide range of services including Contract Administration, Defect Analysis Surveys, Planned Preventative Maintenance Reports, Reinstatement Cost Assessments + Asset Condition Monitoring. Prior to this Daniel spent thirteen years with one of the world’s largest building product manufacturers. During this time he was employed as Product Manager + Technical Services Manager for the UK and Ireland. Prior to this he worked for a structural and civil engineering consultant for a period of 3 years. Daniel therefore has a very strong technical background, particularly in the disciplines of product chemistry, insulation, roofing and structural waterproofing. He has a wealth of experience in defect analysis, bespoke detailing and specification writing. He is proficient in U-Value, Condensation Analysis, Thermography & CAD and also has experience in structural and civil engineering, leadership and management.

His technical expertise have helped secure a number of prestigious contracts for blue chip companies such as BT, Dyson, and Ford Motor Company, whilst also providing key technical assistance in safeguarding existing projects which belong to the government and ministry of defence.
