Graham + Sibbald, UK Chartered Surveyors and Property Consultants, have announced the promotion of Kyle Hargreaves to Partner within their Manchester Building Surveying department.
Kyle, who was the first hire to establish the firms Manchester office, now boasts a total complement of 16 staff members from Student Surveyors through to Partners.
The opening of an office in Manchester was of strategic importance to the firm and the first step towards operating on a national level, working to meet the needs and demands of their clients. In particular, the move allowed their Building Surveying team to work closely on a number of dedicated projects with existing clients which has flourished over the last four years.
With strong levels of construction activity across the City with investment in property, both commercial and residential, Graham + Sibbald are reporting strong activity levels on a wide variety of projects. The Hotel market is also busy with around 1,900 rooms under construction in Manchester and expected to open over the next three years.
Kyle Hargreaves commented, “We’re seeing consistently strong levels of project activity and demand which is great to see despite the economic uncertainty. Now more than ever we’re seeing a push towards ‘green’ buildings and Graham + Sibbald have invested in a number of technologies such as thermal imaging, drones and hygrometers as a way of improving our building surveys, making buildings greener and helping communicate findings to our clients.”

With over 45 professional staff in employment within the Technical Services team comprising Architectural, Building Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors, Planning Consultants, Carbon + Sustainability and Project Managers across their office networks, Graham + Sibbald are continuing to expand their offering of services and locations.
Following their acquisition of Keningtons Chartered Surveyors in 2022, Graham + Sibbald added London and Swindon to their office network and are continuing to expand their offering of services and locations. With the business having opened its first English office in Manchester in 2019, they have pursued a rapid expansion plan in the years since.
