Graham + Sibbald, UK Chartered Surveyors and Property Consultants, have recently announced the promotions of Martin Davis and Hugh Anderson to Partner level within their established Hotel + Leisure department.
Both based in Manchester but operating across the UK, Martin and Hugh are primarily involved in the delivery of general agency services from business sales and acquisitions to the provision of dedicated advice and market guidance, while driving Graham + Sibbald forward and working to increase market share in England.
With more than 35 years’ experience of working in the transactional property market, primarily in the hotel and licensed leisure sectors, Martin Davis has worked with many of the industry’s leading hotel owners and operators. Martin is one of the most prominent hotel agency brokers in the North of England where he provides strategic disposal and acquisition advice to a broad range of clients. Martin joined Graham + Sibbald in October 2021 and is based in the firms Manchester office where he is helping to lead the presence of the firm’s hotel and leisure sector services across England.
Hugh Anderson brings over 25 years’ experience working both nationally and internationally, primarily in the provision of the sale and acquisition of hotels. He brings widespread experience in all aspects of the hotel sector, including brokerage, development advice, hotel deal structures, agency and valuation advice, with extensive knowledge of key brands and UK markets. He joined Graham + Sibbald’s Manchester office in October 2021, leading the presence of Hotel + Leisure services across England.
Following their acquisition of Keningtons Chartered Surveyors in 2022, Graham + Sibbald added London and Swindon to their office network and are continuing to expand their offering of services and locations. With the business having opened its first English office in Manchester in 2019, they have pursued a rapid expansion plan in the years since.
The Graham + Sibbald national Hotel + Leisure Team is also growing, with well-known hotel and leisure industry specialist James Williamson who joined the team as a Director in January 2023, based within the London office. Having worked in the hotel property sector for more than 25 years he joins Graham + Sibbald at an exciting time.
