Graham + Sibbald Welcome Valuation Associate

UK Chartered Surveyors and Property Consultants Graham + Sibbald have welcomed a new Associate to their growing Commercial Valuation team in London.

Richard Scott initially undertook a BA (Hons) degree in Marketing and Management at Newcastle University, before going on to complete an MSc in Real Estate Management at Northumbria University. Following this he worked at CBRE in property research, and completed a part time secondment with a property developer. Richard began working at Avison Young in 2012 where he has spent the last 10 years.

Richard has worked for a variety of clients on projects and requirements such as corporate recovery, commercial and residential property disposals, commercial valuations and advice, Red Book valuations and more across the UK.

Boasting more than 10 years’ experience in the provision of valuation services, Richard commented,

“I’m really excited to be joining Graham + Sibbald during their current growth period, particularly within London where I am looking forward to helping further develop the business profile. There has been a lot of buzz in the industry of late around the G+S team, which has been really positive and attractive.”

“My remit will cover all aspects of commercial valuation as well as input to deliver a first-class service to banking and private clients moving forward. I hope that by pushing the business brand we can pull more resource from our wider service lines including commercial agency, asset services, building surveying and carbon + sustainability.”

Following the recent hire of Philip Costa in October and Graham + Sibbald’s acquisition of Keningtons Chartered Surveyors in June of this year, the business have pursued a rapid expansion plan across England since early 2019 when they opened their Manchester office.

Director at Graham + Sibbald, Stephen Craig, said,

“We are pleased to be further enhancing our National Valuation Team by welcoming Richard Scott to our London based team. As the business continues to grow at pace, we are working diligently to strengthen our service offering in England and throughout the UK to support the ever changing needs of our clients. Richard brings a wealth of experience and I’m confident he will be a great addition to the team.”

Graham + Sibbald now has around 250 employees and 23 Partners working across its 21 UK offices in Scotland and England, where they are continuing to expand their offering of services and locations.
