Graham + Sibbald Announces Two New Associates

Graham + Sibbald are delighted to announce the recent promotions of Karen Sweeney and Marc Garside to Associate level.

Karen Sweeney joined Graham + Sibbald as a Senior Surveyor in 2020, having worked across a number of facilities management firms prior. She graduated with a BBS degree from University of Limerick and obtained a Higher Certificate in Property Studies from Dublin Institute of Technology. Karen has also completed her IOSH Managing Safely course. Based in the Glasgow office as part of the Property Management Team, Karen is responsible for a mixed portfolio of properties throughout Scotland.  She is experienced in the day-to-day management and coordination of commercial portfolios, landlord and tenant liaison, administering service charge budgets, carrying out site inspections and reporting. Karen is dedicated to providing the highest level of service to clients and tenants alike.

Marc Garside joined Graham + Sibbald as Graduate Building Surveyor in April 2019 within the Glasgow Office. Prior to joining Graham + Sibbald, Marc studied Building Surveying BSc (Hons) at Glasgow Caledonian University before joining a multidisciplinary consultancy throughout the UK and Ireland. In July 2021, Marc obtained his professional status with the RICS and now forms part of the London and South Coast Building Surveying Team. Marc is proficient in Building Surveys, Schedules of Condition, Technical Defect Analysis, Dilapidation Surveys and Negotiation, Reinstatement Cost Assessments and Contract Administration. Marc is committed to providing a high standard of service in order to obtain new clients and retain existing ones.
