Graham + Sibbald Announces Six New Associates

Graham + Sibbald are delighted to announce the promotion of; Jonny Frew, Jared Neville, Scott Graham, Neil Cromarty, Graeme Gilchrist and Innes Flockhart to Associate level.

Graham + Sibbald has 200 employees and 24 partners working across its 16 UK offices in Scotland and England where the Firm added Manchester to its growing office network South of the border. As one of the leading firms of Chartered Surveyors in Scotland, Graham + Sibbald provide a comprehensive range of property surveys and valuations – from basic mortgage valuations to detailed building surveys.

Jonny Frew is a key member of the Glasgow office, and continues to provide a dedicated service as a Chartered Building Surveyor. Jonny, with a Higher National Diploma in Architectural Conservation achieved through Glasgow Metropolitan College as well as a Building Surveying degree from Heriot Watt University, brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to the firm. His achievements and previous posts mean that he is well equipped to provide technical advice to his clients at an exceptional standard, from providing Landlord and Tenant related advice to undertaking all forms of Building Surveys. Jonny is involved in leading a team to deliver Contract Administration duties on various detailed construction projects across Scotland.

Jared Neville joined Graham + Sibbald as a placement student in 2014 as part of the firms Undergraduate Programme, and graduated in 2015 with a First-Class Honours Degree from Robert Gordon University. Jared brings a high level of expertise to the firm and is experienced in all sectors of the Construction and Property industry, with particular focus in Project Management and refurbishment. Furthermore, Jared is involved daily with Building Surveys, Defect Analysis Inspections as well as preparing and negotiating schedules of Dilapidations for both Landlords and Tenants.

Having recently relocated from the Graham + Sibbald Edinburgh Office, Scott Graham is a key member of the Residential department within the firm’s Falkirk office. After joining Graham + Sibbald in 2015 as a Student Surveyor from Glasgow Caledonian University, Scott has gone from strength to strength after being awarded a First-Class Honours Degree. He particularly enjoys his daily interactions with clients whilst carrying out home reports, mortgage valuations and EPC’s to name a few. Scott prides himself on carrying out his surveys and reports to the highest standard for all his clients who range from major lenders in the UK to local solicitors and private clients.

In Inverness, Neil Cromarty began his career with Graham + Sibbald back in 2007 after graduating from the College of Estate Management, Reading. As a Chartered Surveyor, an RICS registered Valuer and a Domestic Energy Assessor, Neil brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Highland and Moray Residential markets. Committed to providing exceptional service to all clients, finely tuned by his expertise of the local area, Neil will take on the new title of Head of Inverness Residential, undertaking mortgage and land valuations, as well as EPC’s and Home Reports.

Graeme Gilchrist joined Graham + Sibbald’s Dundee office in 2014 after completing his Law degree at Dundee University. He then achieved his Masters in Real Estate at the University College of Estate Management whilst undertaking his professional training and became Chartered in 2016. As an RICS Registered Valuer, Graeme’s work is largely focused on Home Reports and mortgage valuations, although he is also involved in the preparation of EPC’s, matrimonial/estate valuations, land valuations and more. As part of a long-established residential valuation team he carries out a range of surveys across the Tayside and Angus area for local solicitors, estate agents, independent clients and national lending institutions.

Since joining Graham + Sibbald in 2017 Innes Flockhart has become an integral member of the firm’s Glasgow office. He is a Chartered Surveyor with extensive experience in commercial agency with particular interest in the development sector. Having initially obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in Real Estate Management, Innes remained at Heriot Watt University to complete a Master’s Degree before commencing his career in Surveying. Innes has practiced across agency and valuation within several markets across the UK and has an in-depth knowledge of the full development process. Some of the high-profile transactions that Innes has been involved in, include the residential developments at Park Quadrant and One Hyndland Avenue as well as the A-Listed Old High School Complex, Elmbank Street in Glasgow City Centre.
