Graduate Surveyor Success

Graham + Sibbald are delighted to announce the recent success of Cameron Cairns who has successfully graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University with a degree in Quantity Surveying.

Having previously obtained an HNC in Construction Management at college, Cameron joined Graham + Sibbald in early January 2020 as a placement student within the Building Surveying team in Glasgow. His time was spent assisting, working and learning alongside Senior and Chartered Surveyors to provide support while gaining valuable on-the-job learning.

Now that he has graduated, Cameron is looking forward to the next step in his career and commented, “I am extremely grateful for all the support I have received from my colleagues while undertaking my studies. Their encouragement has played a key part in my success and I’m delighted to now be taking on more responsibility as a Graduate Surveyor and getting started on working towards sitting my Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) which will allow me to become a fully Chartered Quantity Surveyor over the next few years.”

With over 40 professional staff in employment within the Technical Services team comprising Architectural, Building Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors, Planning Consultants, Carbon + Sustainability and Project Managers across their office networks, Graham + Sibbald are continuing to expand their offering of services and locations.
