Graham + Sibbald having officially received permission from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to operate a drone as part of their latest business venture.

The Chartered Surveyors recently employed Residential Surveyor John Reid who has experience in drone operation. Based in Glasgow, Reid will be working with a number of departments across the Firm to produce property footage.

John Reid, Surveyor at Graham + Sibbald, said: “As a Chartered Surveyor I am able to see first-hand the benefits that this technology brings to the industry. I am excited to be the official Drone Operator for Graham + Sibbald, working within our various departments to deliver an array of new products to our clients.”

Following a rebrand at the end of 2017, Graham + Sibbald have modernised their business and are recognised as one of Scotland’s largest and most respected property services firms. This new venture will add to the modernisation of the Firm who are building a social media following across a number of popular platforms.

Calum Campbell, Managing Partner at Graham + Sibbald, said: “At Graham + Sibbald we are committed to providing the highest quality service to all our clients, that’s why we’ve decided to take this step as we continue to modernise our business. Drone footage is becoming more and more popular, particularly in the property world, and we’re excited to discover various uses of this within the Firm. It’s definitely something different for us, but we’re looking forward to offering this new service.”
