Building Surveying New Hire – Team Growth in England

Graham + Sibbald are delighted to announce the recent hire of Steve Halfpenny as an Associate Building Surveyor, based within the businesses newly formed Birmingham office.

Steve is a Chartered Building Surveyor with a Building Surveying degree from Wolverhampton University and an engineering background, Steve’s career has seen him work across several well-known and respected UK property consultancy firms. He brings a wide range of project experience from his former roles including building surveys, technical due diligence surveys, contract administration, project management, development monitoring, condition surveys, dilapidations and building defect advice.

Steve’s remit will include undertaking a wide range of building surveys for a variety of purposes and clients, business development, while also working closely with members of the building surveying and architectural teams across Manchester and in Scotland.

Steve commented: “This is a really exciting time for me to be joining Graham + Sibbald and I’m very much looking forward to working with the Manchester Building Surveying team, while developing the business profile in Birmingham and the Midlands through new and existing clients.”

With over 35 professional staff in employment within the Technical Services team comprising Building and Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers and Architects across their office network Graham + Sibbald are continuing to expand their offering of services and locations. Graham + Sibbald has around 200 employees and 20 partners working across its 17 UK offices in Scotland and England.
