Ardersier, Inverness

On behalf of Ardersier Port Ltd, Graham + Sibbald’s Planning and Development Team have successfully renewed planning permission in principle for the establishment of a port and port related services at the former Fabrication Yard, Ardersier in the Highlands.

The renewal process involved the preparation of an updated Environmental Impact Assessment Report to reflect the new Regulations that came into force in 2017. Graham + Sibbald were responsible for agreeing the scope of this Report with The Highland Council and Marine Scotland.

Graham + Sibbald project managed a range of specialist consultants during the preparation of the EIA Report. They liaised with The Highland Council and numerous statutory consultees in order to achieve the best possible outcome.

Graham + Sibbald was also responsible for undertaking the public consultation and stakeholder engagement.

The application was submitted on the 28th September 2018 and was approved on the 4th February 2019.
