APC Candidates Pass

Graham + Sibbald are delighted to announce our newly qualified Chartered Building Surveyor, Lucy Fraser, who successfully passed her Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) in December 2018.

This represents a continued one hundred percent success rate for Graham + Sibbald, following on from our seven other staff members that qualified in June and October of this year.

Lucy started with the Firm in 2016 as a Graduate Surveyor after completing a Building Surveying Degree at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. She specialises in a number of different Surveys such as; Commercial EPC’s, Stock Condition Surveys and Dilapidations. Lucy has also been involved in various refurbishment projects for both residential and commercial properties, and has experience of submitting Building Warrant Applications on behalf of clients.

She commented: “As the last candidate within the firm to sit my APC in 2018, the support and encouragement from my fellow colleagues has been instrumental in keeping me focused and motivated to succeed. Becoming a fully Qualified Surveyor after all my hard work really does bring a perfect close to the busiest year of my life so far! I look forward to what 2019 will bring for me in my career and truly am delighted to be moving on from this chapter to the next.”

John MacBean, Graham + Sibbald Inverness Partner, commented: “We are extremely proud of Lucy and look forward to seeing her develop and progress further now that she is fully qualified. As always, it’s great to be continuing our 100% APC pass rate which has seen 8 Graduates succeed this year alone. Our commitment to providing a full APC training programme and support system is proving to be fruitful and attractive to a number of young Surveyors across Scotland. Long may it continue!”
