The current challenge facing the Scottish town centre provides a fantastic opportunity to breathe new life into some of the country’s most forgotten but historically important spaces. This is a chance to rebalance the core of our towns and make them places with a rich mix of uses.

The task at hand is a very challenging one, which should be embraced by all stakeholders. However, co-operation and flexibility amongst all involved should enable this challenge to succeed…
