45 Main Street, Kilmaurs

Graham + Sibbald’s Kilmarnock office are delighted to announce the successful disposal of 45 Main Street, Kilmaurs within a short marketing period.

Initially instructed in early January, the former Walkers Cycling shop was under offer within one week of going live on the firm’s website, with the deal concluding on 22nd February 2019.

Purchased by a private investor, this sale follows a number of others within the West of Scotland after the New Year. As Brexit continues to cause uncertainty of what will come at the end of the quarter, it would appear that the market at present is healthy and the firm are maintaining confidence that this will continue following 29th March.

Sorcha Johnstone, Chartered Surveyor at Graham + Sibbald who was involved in the sale of the property, commented: “We are pleased to have concluded this sale within such a short time frame for our client, surpassing their expectations and ensuring the best outcome. Graham + Sibbald have been working hard to improve our marketing strategy across our Commercial Agency department, so it’s great to see results from this. Long may it continue!”

Graham + Sibbald client, John Walker, said: “I first approached Graham + Sibbald in January to sell my business premises. The entire process was smooth and straightforward thanks to their attention to detail, personalised marketing campaign and excellent communication throughout. A board was erected at the premises and the first enquires were in after only a few days on the market. I was delighted when the first offer came in and the deal was concluded within two months! I would not hesitate to use Graham + Sibbald again in the future or recommend them to anyone looking to sell their commercial property.”
