Founded in Dundee in 1959, Chartered Surveyors Graham + Sibbald were once the only sole valuation practice in the City.
As the business has continued to grow over the last 60 years, so has their commitment to the support and development of their staff base which currently boasts a total complement of over 240 staff members and 23 Partners working across 17 UK offices in Scotland and England.
In Tayside, Graham + Sibbald are delighted to have made a number of strategic senior promotions across a variety of services including residential, commercial valuation and agency.
On the residential side of the business, Kyle Porter has been promoted to Director and Andrew Hitchen has been promoted to Associate level. Our residential team are a trusted name in the Scottish Property market and act for all major Estate Agents, Building Societies, Banks and Lending/Financial Institutions.
Based within our busy Residential department, Kyle Porter covers the Dundee, Angus and North Fife areas. He joined Graham + Sibbald in 2006 as a school leaver and studied Estate Management (BSc Hons) at the University of Reading whilst undertaking his professional training. As an RICS Registered Valuer he is involved in all aspects of residential property valuation, mainly focused on Home Reports and valuations for secured lending purposes on behalf of local solicitors, estate agents, major financial institutions and independent clients.
Andrew Hitchen is a Chartered Surveyor with over 28 years’ experience working within Perth and Central Scotland. Specialising in residential surveys and valuation, Andrew carries out a broad spectrum of surveys on a daily basis for the purpose of home reports, EPC’s and more on behalf of a range of private clients, lenders and estate agents. He is a member of the RICS and also an RICS registered valuer. Born and raised in Perth, where he still resides, Andrew draws on his local knowledge in order to provide a high quality of service to all clients.
Graham + Sibbald’s commercial agency team have announced the promotions of Garth Davison and Grant Robertson to Director level. These appointments demonstrate the strong and successful position that Graham + Sibbald are in within the Tayside market.
Initially working out of our Edinburgh office, Garth Davison joined Graham + Sibbald in 2011 before moving to join the Dundee commercial department where his role covers Dundee, Angus, Perth and North Fife. He achieved his Masters in Real Estate Management and Development at Heriot Watt University, whilst undertaking his professional training and became chartered in 2014. Garth became an Associate of the firm in 2017. As an RICS Registered Valuer Garth undertakes a wide range of work, focusing mainly on Commercial Agency and Valuation, acting on behalf of a range of clients including major financial institutions, pension funds, solicitors, accountants and also private clients.
Grant Robertson joined the Graham + Sibbald Dundee Commercial department in 2011 as a Graduate Surveyor, having graduated from the University of Aberdeen. He undertakes a wide variety of work across all aspects of Commercial property covering Dundee, Angus and North Fife. As an RICS Registered Valuer, he provides valuation advice to a mix of local and national clients along with all major lending institutions. In addition, Grant provides advice on all Agency work to a wide variety of clients for various purposes from buying and selling to investment and consultancy.
