Sufficient demand for the right investment

Acting on behalf of S & J D Robertson, Graham + Sibbald has successfully sold
8 Coates Crescent, Edinburgh, with the benefit of the existing leasehold interest.

The property, comprising a full mid terraced A listed Georgian Townhouse with a separate mews building and 3 garaged car parking spaces, was sold to a private investor, at a net initial yield of 5.31%.

Ross Wilson of Graham + Sibbald’s Edinburgh Office commented: “In light of the current turbulent market conditions, credit crunch and the inaccessibility to funds, we were delighted to achieve such a highly competitive price. The sale emphasises that there is still sufficient demand for the right investment. This deal serves to underpin the resilience and flexibility of period properties within the countries’ capital.”
