Graham + Sibbald to handle major Kinloss disposal
Surveyors act for MOD in sale of strategic Moray village package
Graham + Sibbald are retained to dispose of a 9.81 acre site in the village of Kinloss, including eighteen detached houses and a Victorian mansion house and policies.
Kinloss Park and Kinloss House are surplus to MOD requirements and are offered for sale together with associated land. The package represents a significant development opportunity in a strategically important area of Moray close to the RAF Kinloss base.
Douglas Mowat of Graham + Sibbald’s Inverness office commented: “This represents an important sale in terms of its impact on the village as a whole. We expect that there will be interest from developers and investors who may wish to refurbish the existing properties and redevelop other areas of the site. The package would lend itself to a mixed use development.”
Kinloss Park comprises a cul-de-sac of eighteen detached 3-bedroom houses, all of which have double glazing, central heating and a garage. The houses are attractively arranged and come with spacious garden areas. Kinloss Park is a detached three story and attic Victorian house built in 1887. The property has been used by MOD for a variety of uses including a social club and nursery. Kinloss House grounds are attractively laid out and the grounds and outbuildings have potential for further development. The purchaser of the package will be required to reconfigure the various service connections to the properties in agreement with MOD.
