Graham + Sibbald to sell another 300 houses in Kinloss
Surveyors handle second major disposal in Moray village
Graham + Sibbald are retained to dispose of a housing estate of 302 houses occupying a 27.48 acre site in the village of Kinloss.
This disposal follows hard on the heels of the initial marketing of Kinloss Park and Kinloss House, a package of 18 houses plus Victorian mansion house on the edge of the village.
The Southside Estate is surplus to MOD requirements and is now offered for sale with full vacant possession.
The two sites will now be marketed in parallel as Lot 1 and Lot 2 and consideration will be given to purchasing the sites either separately or together.
Douglas Mowat of Graham + Sibbald’s Inverness office is coordinating the sale of both sites. He commented: “This is an exciting, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to purchase a valuable portfolio of properties with potential for further development. Marketing both sites simultaneously allows potential purchasers the opportunity to develop a comprehensive strategy for redevelopment. The purchaser will be required to submit plans for developing a sustainable community at Southside with a good mix of affordable, private and rented housing. We see this as an opportunity to meet the pent-up housing demand in Moray as well as regenerating the village.”
Southside Estate comprises a development of 302 terraced and semi detached houses. The houses are a mix of two, three and four bedroom properties, all with their own garden areas. The houses benefit from double glazing and gas central heating. There are terraced lock-up garages throughout the estate. The purchaser of the estate will be required to reconfigure the various service connections to the properties in agreement with MOD. Offers are invited.
