Graham + Sibbald sole agent Wellington Circle, Aberdeen
Work is progressing to schedule on a new 20,385sq ft office pavilion in Aberdeen that has attracted fresh interest from a number of potential tenants.
The steelwork for Wellington House in Altens has been erected and construction will be complete in September this year. The £6million project is one of several major developments being undertaken by commercial property developer Knight Real Estate across the north-east of Scotland.
Sole marketing agent for the two-storey pavilion in Wellington Circle is Graham + Sibbald.
Knight Director Howard Crawshaw said: “We’ve had interest in the development from its earliest stages, reflecting both the attributes of the development and, more generally, the continuing shortage of quality office accommodation in the north-east. It’s important that every development opportunity is maximised to overcome that shortage and thus help to maintain the region’s competitive economic edge. Wellington House is exactly the type of modern property, in an excellent location, that oil and gas-related companies are looking at as existing leases expire or break option opportunities arise.”
The Wellington House project is one of several ongoing Knight Real Estate office developments, including the £10million second phase of Kirkhill Business Park at Dyce and the speculative £45million WestPoint Business Park in Westhill.
