Sharkey Space touches down in Bilston Glen

Graham + Sibbald are delighted to have been appointed as sole letting agents on instructions of Sharkey to bring "Sharkey Space" to the market. The property will comprise a hybrid serviced office/industrial buildings, which is strategically located within Bilston Glen in Loanhead at Midlothian's premier business location, with close links to Edinburgh City Centre, The City By-Pass, A1 and Scotland's motorway network.

Sharkey, the East Lothian based interior fit out company purchased the property from the receiver of the Peter Walker Group Limited. The vision for Sharkey Space is to refurbish the 12,000 sq ft headquarters office building to create a multi use business centre with suites ranging from 100 sq ft upwards with state of the art presentation suites and reception areas providing total flexibility in the highest quality business environment. In addition, new industrial units will be created providing flexible space ranging from 1000 sq ft up to 10,000 sq ft with the opportunity to take office space within the HQ building.

The property is ideal for dynamic new start and small high growth companies, for whom flexibility and adaptability is central to the success.

A tenant has already been secured for the catering facilities. Edinburgh based outside caterers, Chequers will provide this service to both Sharkey Space tenants and Bilston Glen itself.
