Graham + Sibbald is delighted to announce two new appointments. Fraser Lang based in Kilmarnock has become a Partner and Steven McGarva has joined the firm as a Partner from Elphinstone.

Fraser joined the firm in 2000 and has been an Associate in charge of the Kilmarnock office for the past 4 years. Fraser, very ably assisted by his colleagues in the office, has successfully managed and developed a multi disciplined practice covering Ayrshire and Dumfries & Galloway.

Steven joins the firm as Partner responsible for Asset Management, Planning and Development. He will be based in the Glasgow office but will have a Scotland wide remit. Steven was formerly a Director at Elphinstone with Board responsibility for directing and managing the development of commercial and mixed use projects, Steven has considerable experience and expertise in regeneration, the delivery of masterplan solutions and the securing of consents through the planning system, management of significant and diverse property portfolios and the disposal of land assets into the development market.

Ian Gillies, Senior Partner comments: “We have always chosen to look forward and invest in our staff and recruit intelligently. Fraser Lang’s promotion to the partnership is well earned and we all wish him continued success for the future. We welcome Steven McGarva who will head up an entire new department. In his new role Steven will become more involved in the management of the team, as well as interacting with new and existing clients securing new instructions. He is a valuable addition to the partnership and, again, we wish him every success.

Diversity of disciplines undoubtedly strengthens the service we offer our clients in what are very difficult trading conditions and these two promotions are a clear sign of the firm`s ambition for sustained growth.”
