Angus Development Opportunities Prove Popular


Graham + Sibbald’s Dundee Commercial department have sold six development opportunities within the last two months, in the popular towns of Carnoustie, Monifieth and Arbroath.


Acting as Sole Selling Agents, three of the properties were sold at closing dates, all achieving figures well in excess of the original asking prices;


Former Post Office, Queen Street, Carnoustie – Graham + Sibbald sold the property following a competitive closing date to a private individual. The subjects were sold at a price well in excess of the asking of, £125,000. The subjects were previously used as a Post Office and were purchased for residential conversion.


Monifieth Church Hall, Monifieth – Graham + Sibbald sold the former Church building and community hall property following a competitive closing date, to a private individual for a figure above the quoting of £130,000.


14/16 Rosemount Road, Arbroath – The former NHS Tayside offices were sold at a closing date following a hugely successful marketing campaign. The subjects were purchased for residential development.


Other transactions include; Land at Balmachie Road (Carnoustie), Holyrood Church Hall (Carnoustie) and 35 Commerce Street (Arbroath).
