Latest Investment Acquisition

Catalyst Trade Park acquired for Local Property Company

 

Acting on behalf of a local property company the National Investment Practice is pleased to have concluded its latest acquisition. The property is a multi-let industrial investment within a prime industrial location within West Edinburgh at Sighthill. Our client views this as a long term income hold and we will be asset management and property management post acquisition. The price of £2.55m equates to a NIY of 8.9%.

 

Sandy Gilmour – Head of Investment sourced deal and negotiated the purchase “post-market”. We were monitoring the investment sale on behalf of our client and when it fell through we were able to secure “off-market” via discussion with the agent. The client acquired the asset with funds via a re-finance of their existing portfolio with debt from RBS and we hope to secure further acquisitions from this “war chest”.

 

The National Investment Practice has been involved in 9 transactions to date during 2016 totalling £13.16m across Scotland.
