On Tuesday 15th March, Graham + Sibbald’s very own Jared Neville was invited to speak at Robert Gordon University (RGU) in Aberdeen. This consisted of Jared giving a one hour talk in which he was able to share his experiences since leaving RGU himself last year, with students that are currently in their third and final year studying Building Surveying. He then went on to give one-on-one Q&A sessions with the students, allowing him to answer any questions they had and give more information to those that requested it.

Jared was supported by Graham + Sibbald through his final year at Robert Gordon University after spending his third year placement in our Edinburgh office. He was then offered a full time position with us once he had graduated. Jared has been a great addition to our Building Surveying team in Edinburgh as it continues to grow.

Upon speaking to Jared, he said, “I enjoyed taking the opportunity to speak with the students at RGU and pass on knowledge gained both from finishing University and starting work with Graham and Sibbald. It is important that we continue to build strong relationships with Universities across the country so that we can continue to inspire and support young individuals on their journey to becoming Chartered Surveyors.”

Graham + Sibbald has recently taken on a student from RGU, Matthew McLeod, who is currently in his third year of studying Building Surveying. Matthew is already proving himself to be a promising Building Surveyor in the future, with nothing but positive feedback coming from the Building Surveying team in Edinburgh.
