Restaurant Popularity in Perth and Dundee

Restaurants Prove Popular in Perth and Dundee

Two restaurant deals have been efficiently concluded in as many months.

Sole letting agents, Graham + Sibbald let the Reform Street, Dundee, premises to Project Pie, a new American pizza chain.  The premises were previously occupied by the Santander Bank and will shortly be transformed into a 65-seater restaurant.

The Graham + Sibbald team, acting as joint selling agents with Eric Young & Co, secured the sale of restaurant premises on Mill Street in Perth city centre, beneath the new Premier Inn.  This prime site, developed by Deanway/Muir group, is situated next to Perth Concert Hall and other key landmarks.  The premises were purchased for £444,000 by Kisa’s, a local restaurateur already based in Kinross and Auchterarder looking to expand the existing brand.

Garth Davison, surveyor with Graham + Sibbald, said: “The Dundee restaurant is good news for the city and Reform Street in particular.  We are delighted to have let this property at an asking rent of £50,000 per annum, on a 20 year lease term.  The restaurant in Perth was sold at a closing date, demonstrating the current demand and confidence in the market place for property of a good standard occupying prominent and popular locations.”
