GS Residential Review for September 2012

We have seen a slight increase in activity levels over the last month, following return of children to school and completion of summer holidays for most.
The weather has also seen the market recognise that autumn is here and appears to have encouraged activity from both buyers and sellers, looking to buy or sell before the end of the year. I am hopeful that this will allow some improvement to the rather subdued activity levels in the market over the summer months. The market does however remain sluggish and most buyers are looking for a bargain irrespective of what type of property they are looking for, or location they are looking in!
The test as ever, are the owners of properties being marketed prepared to accept what is offered or will they dig their heels in and wait?
