A fine catch in Aberdeen

Graham +Sibbald has been instructed to market an award winning restaurant in Aberdeen.  The Silver Darling, which is well known to generations of discerning diners, occupies an iconic building at the entrance to Aberdeen Harbour and enjoys sweeping sea views and a panoramic vista along Aberdeen beach.

"There can't be a better restaurant view in Scotland" says French chef-owner Didier Dejean who has decided to take it easy after running the restaurant for over 20 years. With our son emigrating to Australia, my wife and I have decided to sell the business as there will not be a family member to pass it on to.
The Silver Darling, so named after the affectionate reference to Herring when they once dominated the Scottish economy, and made famous by Neil Gunn's eponymous novel, is an award winning restaurant, blending fresh Scottish produce with French cooking flair. Not surprisingly there is an emphasis on seafood.
Simpson Buglass, partner in Graham + Sibbald’s Aberdeen office says: “With 50 covers, a private dining room for 15, and a terrace, the ‘Silver Darling’ provides an exceptional opportunity for any party wishing to acquire a first class restaurant business with potential for further development, in the most buoyant local economy in the United Kingdom”.
