The National Investment Practice were instructed in Q1 2015 to acquire property investments with defensive characteristics for a Private Family. The clients were targeting an equity deployment totalling c.£8.5m.


The final properties comprised 2 retail units let to Holland & Barrett and Superdrug on Brook Street, Broughty Ferry were acquired in April 2016. Over the last 15 months we have sourced two “off market” opportunities in Brought Ferry, including the above and M&Co  unit. We also advised on the acquisition of a retail warehouse investment at Greenlaw Village, Newton Mearns along with a higher yielding industrial investment on the outskirts of Edinburgh at Pentland Industrial Estate, Loanhead.


We co-ordinated the acquisition advisory teams including , agency, management and building surveying. Our geographical spread and market knowledge allowed us to appraise each opportunity and advise on pricing, we are now retained to manage the assets and undertake asset management as and when required.
