Graham + Sibbald have been managing the HIE property portfolio since 2005 and were successfully re-appointed in April 2010 to provide Property Management services. The portfolio comprises some 370 properties and services provided include rent reviews, lease renewals, acquisitions, disposals, annual asset valuations, invoicing/collection of rent/service charges, landlord/tenant obligations non-domestic rating works and full range of building surveying services.
The mixed portfolio extends from Argyll to Shetland and is varied in content, ranging from a significant health sciences development, to extensive wind turbine manufacturing facilities and large multi let office complexes, to small-holdings, industrial units and residential property. The current rent roll is in the region of £4m/annum.
The Centre for Health Science is the life sciences development and is located in Inverness. It is a prestigious development extending to a NIA of 7,706 sq.m., combining tenants such as NHS, Johnson & Johnson, NHS Education for Scotland and the Universities of Aberdeen, Highlands and Islands and Stirling, having a rent roll of approximately £1.2M/annum.
